As time permits, we would like to offer original label information as an extension of a book that was published over 20 years ago. We attempted to point out the differences between first and subsequent pressings, reissues, and identify fakes (or boots) when they were produced. The period covered is roughly 1955 to 1965. With the proliferation of the Internet, and the ease with which information can be made available, we hope to satisfy a much larger audience. This is a labor of love so information will probably be added slowly. Hopefully, the Web site will quickly develop into a useful tool. Any information and advice will always be appreciated. The links are mostly self-explanatory. The Basic Information is a good place to start for overall tips. Labels are the core of the site providing details about each label configuration and a list of known fakes . Advertising helps defray the cost of maintaining the site, so please frequent our supporters. Label, Artist and Title Cross References are helpful in locating complete information when you only have one piece. Listed titles will show first and subsequent labels for individual releases.
