To get on a community-sponsored Thanksgiving ski trip for disadvantaged kids, Jamie convinces the sponsors that his parents are separated.

For a such mediocre storyline, the Thanksgiving message nevertheless squeaks through, though Jamie really gets away with murder for pulling off such a ploy.  Notable: Harriet flouncing and flapping around in a class-play turkey costume.

Don Beck is also the name of one of the great production assistants.
