To help Brandon get promoted to a job in Japan, Joan pretends that she's his
estranged wife and that Vicki and Jamie are their kids.
Totally absurd plot, but seeing Pennington and Brissette all wrapped up and
shuffling around in kimonos was a riot and redeems ths episode. Extra fun is
Vicki playing flirt to Jamie (à la Harriet); in his frantic struggle to
break away from a smooching "girl" he suddenly forgets she's just a
machine.
