Instead of candidates for Congress mailing out giant plackards extolling themselves or slinging
accusations at their opponent, I would like to see single-issue pledge postcards. {Examples below}

I believe that this would be a cost-effective way of communicating with voters. I definitely
would want to vote for someone who makes an unequivical statement that I could keep for future
reference. In addition to mailing "pledge postcards," they would be useful as handouts for
supporters to distribute.

Any candidate for public office is welcome to use this idea with my sincere best wishes.
