Optimal Decisions is a software developing and consulting company
focused on Management Science Technologies (Statistics, Optimization).
It was founded in 1998. The president of the company, Tchavdar
Dangaltchev, has a Ph.D. in Management Science from Belarusian
State University. Tchavdar worked 14 years as a System Analyst and
Programmer at Institute of Mathematics, Sofia, Bulgaria. He has
more than 20 years experience programming in different computer
languages and has taken part in a number of projects involving
statistics and optimization, in some of them as a team leader.
Tchavdar also has a management experience - from 1990 to 1992
he owned a computer programming and consulting company in Bulgaria.
In 1996 he moved to Vancouver and worked as a Research Associate
at UBC.
